4. Does Homeopathy really work? Lets see if it does.
Lets look at some facts on Homeopathy:
Most scientists would state categorically that Homeopathy is a scientific impossibility. Who would disagree, as the explanation that is currently provided to support homeopathy makes very little sense. How is it possible that a solution that contains no chemical atoms (Avogadro’s number) causes a biological reaction in the body? All of our basic understanding of science screams out that this is impossible.
But what if all that we have been taught at school, at university and at work is in fact only part of the truth. What if there was a missing part of our education that provides the missing link that makes subjects such as homeopathy scientifically obvious? What if there is much more to our body than simply chemicals?
It took me 9 years of research to uncover this hidden area of science. Once I did, the scientific explanation for many controversial areas of science, including homeopathy, became uncontroversial. What I am about to tell you about homeopathy is just one of the many areas of science that have been hidden from us which are finally exposed in my research over 15 years. Its published on my website www.imperialclinics.com in the Developmental Disorders section.
Here’s the link http://imperialclinics.com/challenge-norms
I initiated a 7 year international study (Location: India, Serbia and and Indians living in USA) of 500 children in the 3 – 15 year age group with delayed development, autism, tuberous sclerosis, dyspraxia, border line Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and cerebral palsy. The study found 60% of the developmental disorder cases had personal family problems or other issues at home. Also 30% of children who were diagnosed with a developmental disorder were pre-term, had mothers with low BMI, sub fertility, and stress during pregnancy.
The children were put under Homeopathic corrective bio-therapy where each child’s own growth gradient was stimulated by giving a specific homeopathy medicine aimed at the child’s constitution (mental and physical make-up). These children were regularly monitored in for 2-7 years individually and an independent Population Genetics expert also monitored each child to infer the pre and post treatment differences. 80% of the children were found to be living a physically and psychologically balanced life.
The focus of the treatment and management through homeopathy wass not to treat the isolated symptoms of the developmental disorder, but to treat the child as a whole and help in building up the personality traits of the child from the time of the treatment.
If we look at Homeopathy from a completely different area of science other than chemistry then we can begin to understand how Homeopathy really works. It is just like one of those intellectual games that people play, where the answer is so obvious once you know it, but impossible if you don’t.
Take the following situation:
Your body is one whole thing. Its made up of systems like respiratory, gastrointestinal, nervous, etc. All these systems are made up of organs like lungs, liver, heart, etc. All these organs are made up of tissues e.g: connective, muscle, nervous, etc. All these tissues are made up of specialised cells e.g: neutron, hepatocyte, epidermal, etc. Here is the most important part. All these cells have a nucleus (except for RBCs). The cell nucleus contains the majority of the cell’s genetic material in the form of multiple linear DNA molecules organized into structures called chromosomes. Each human cell contains roughly two meters of DNA. This DNA is interesting as it stores tons of information. Yes, information on how each cell should behave! The information in DNA is stored as a code made up of four chemical bases: adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and thymine (T). Human DNA consists of about 3 billion bases, and more than 99 percent of those bases are the same in all people. The order, or sequence, of these bases determines the information available for building and maintaining an organism, similar to the way in which letters of the alphabet appear in a certain order to form words and sentences. So any treatment aimed at changing tendencies of the body must correct errors here. Inherited or acquired. e.g: Hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart disease. All in all would you be able to change a code with any material substance?
This won’t be possible with material substances: homeopathic, allopathic, ayurvedic, etc, etc…
A BIG NO!!!!
You may give a child a punishment or reward to behave better but matter influences matter and information influences information. Only education can transform you through the impressions you’ve had through it, the physical books are useless!
Now if we turn back to homeopathy, we have to look at it from the same idea and say that the idea that chemicals are the issue is irrelevant to solving the problem.
It is not the chemicals in the solution that cause a biological change but the vibrations that emanated from the chemicals, which have an affect. The massive missing part of our education is simply the concept of “vibrations” and everything that they affect. The same is true with every aspect of our body, it works on two levels, a chemical one and a vibrational one, they go hand in hand, one does not work without the other.
As every electron vibrates uniquely and everything is made up of electrons then it is incontrovertible to state that everything vibrates, absolutely everything. So if everything vibrates, it would seem fairly logical that one vibration must affect another. Just take sound as an example, a choir all singing together sounds very different from a school playground.
The same thing happens in our body, you get choirs in parts of our body where it is healthy vibrationally and noisy playgrounds where our body’s organs are malfunctioning causing vibrational disharmony and sickness.
This idea is hugely controversial as it contradicts everything that we have been taught. The tragedy however, is that science has proven it to be true in thousands of different studies, but has not promoted is as it implies that pharmaceutical drugs are not the only cure in town. And the money is in materials… easy!
So if vibrations are the answer what about the big idea that is put forward by homeopaths that is it also to do with the concept that water has some sort of a memory to provide evidence that homeopathy works scientifically.
This is total nonsense and provides yet more ammunition to everyone who wants to dismiss a perfectly sensible area of science as pseudo-science. WATER DOES NOT HAVE A MEMORY. Of course it doesn’t. Water has amazing functions but memory is not one of them.
Water has the amazing property that enables it to change its vibrational pattern to the chemical or environment in which it is in. This is an incredibly important point and one that needs to be remembered, water is a chameleon, adapting itself to its environment vibrationally.
As an example, in one experiment, if you treated a cup of water with a specific vibrational frequency the water would change itself to that specific vibration and it would stay like that forever. It would only change if it came across a different vibration.
This vibrated water if ingested directly and instantly affects our body’s biological functions. Depending on the vibrational frequency of the water, different illnesses can be treated.
The conclusion from my research is that if you add a chemical into a solution and then remove all traces of that chemical from the solution, the specific chemical vibrational remains which has the same biological affect as if the chemical were still in the water. The body recognises the new vibration and reacts accordingly.
This idea has radical implications for our health as it means that not only do we have to question the water that we drink but also our environment in which we live which is saturated with man made vibrations from all of the electronic machinery that we use in our every day lives. What damage are they in fact doing to our health? The good part is that a ‘Repair mechanism’ exists. Thats the only reason why the Human species survived on earth for more than a million years without doctors.
So hopefully, in these few paragraphs I have shown that it is scientifically logical for homeopathic treatments to work, through the properties of vibrations. The problem that I have, however, is this: how do homeopathic treatments work when they are in solid pill form. For this I do not have the answers. I can only confirm that homeopathy is a very simple science in principle when it is in a solution and should be embraced by the scientific community.

RCT: Randomised placebo-Controlled Trials
Difficulties and opportunities with RCTs
The RCT model of measuring efficacy of a drug poses some challenges for homeopathic research. In homeopathy, treatment is usually tailored to the individual. A homeopathic prescription is based not only on the symptoms of disease in the patient but also on a host of other factors that are particular to that patient, including lifestyle, emotional health, personality, eating habits and medical history. The “efficacy” of an individualised homeopathic intervention is thus a complex blend of the prescribed medicine together with the other facets of the in-depth consultation and integrated health advice provided by the practitioner; under these circumstances, the specific effect of the homeopathic medicine itself may be difficult to quantify with precision in RCTs.
The dilutions and the memory of water theory
The aspect of homeopathy that is implausible for many people is that the medicines are often – though by no means always – diluted to the point where there may be no molecules of original substance left. One of the leading current proposals for how such ‘ultramolecular’ dilutions work is that water is capable of storing information relating to substances with which it has previously been in contact.
The structure of water
Recent research on hydrogen bonds in water provides some support for this ‘memory’ theory. The Swiss chemist, Louis Rey, found that the structure of hydrogen bonds in homeopathic dilutions of salt solutions is very different from that in pure water. He reached the conclusion that the phenomenon results from the vigorous shaking of solutions that takes place during homeopathic ‘succussion’. Moreover, using the laboratory technique called spectroscopy, other researchers have found that different homeopathic medicines and different dilutions of the same medicine can be distinguished from each other, even though all should contain nothing but water.
An alternative mechanism is suggested by the results of research from South Korea. Studies on molecular clustering in water solutions showed that as a solution is made more and more dilute, very stable and larger ‘clumps’ of material develop in dilute solutions rather than in more concentrated solutions. This means that residual molecular clusters of the original substance might just be present in homeopathic dilutions. Succussion might also be responsible for creating very tiny bubbles (nanobubbles) that could contain gaseous inclusions of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and possibly the homeopathic source material.3
Highly diluted substances exert an effect
However they work, there is increasing evidence that homeopathic dilutions have a demonstrable effect on living organisms examined under laboratory conditions. Researchers in Germany have observed an inhibitory effect of an ultra-diluted chemical on the bacterium Vibrio fischeri. And there is important work from a consortium of European laboratories showing that very high dilutions of histamine may exert a biologically significant effect on the white blood cells that take part in the immune response.
Positive outcomes in 75% of studies
Viewing the evidence overall, there is some experimental support for the idea that ultra-molecular homeopathic dilutions may possess unique physical properties and can exert physiological effects. A systematic review evaluated 67 in-vitro experiments in 75 publications of research on homeopathic dilutions.7 A majority of papers reported measurable effects from highly diluted substances. Positive findings were obtained in nearly three-quarters of all replicated studies, but no positive result was stable enough to be reproduced by all investigators.
What homeopathy costs?
Your first consultation with a private homeopath will usually cost between INR 500 to INR 10,000. Further appointments usually cost less – about INR 500 to INR 5000 depending on the location of the place and experience of homeopath. It will also depend on the skill level of his staff or assistants who usually take the first case and prepare it for the main consultant.
Your remedy will usually be included in the consultation price, but do check this first. Homeopathic tablets or other products usually cost around INR 100 to INR500 if you need to buy them separately in India.
